Our Team
Our lead designer, Melannie, started this business with her husband, Adam, after working together for 20+ years in construction management. Mel began her career in finance management while leading redesign and remodels on projects with Adam leading as a general contractor. They have partnered together on projects throughout the West Coast on bathroom redesigns or full remodels down to the studs.
Client projects have ranged from entrepreneurial multi-home owners partnering to increase the purchase price, individuals that remodel their kitchen every few years based on the latest style and innovations, or busy parents that haven't had time to fix the laundry room that isn't functional. We understand that every individual has their own style and dreams for each part of their home, we collaborate with you to bring it into reality.
Our History
Mel started this business because she wants to support individuals and families who are too busy and need help with executing their vision. As a mother of three, she has experienced phases in life when you are simply too busy to tackle that house project. Mel has the expertise, knowledge, and experience to navigate and help you realize the style in your home that speaks to you.
Cormack Construction was created as a new kind of business on the West Coast that is more like the level of service you would experience with what you see on home renovation shows with a husband-wife partnership. Mel will be your main connection point as you work together to unpack your vision and design what you will love.
Our Specialties
Adam and Mel will manage everything from architect to contractor timelines, budget, and execution to the final product (and everything in between). We will be the general contractor and one of the main benefits is that we have incredible relationships throughout PNW and California with quality subcontractors.
A primary benefit of working with Cormack Construction is avoiding one of the biggest issues with a remodel or renovation which is having to pay twice if you hire an inexperienced subcontractor. Mel and Adam help you design, manage the schedule, and get the work done with excellence!
